Vintage Dress

Thought you may be interested to see a funky dress I picked up from a vintage fair, it has a definite 70s vibe, I should probably be working a scrunchy and top knot with it, whilst watching saved by the bell (is that 70s?)...anywho...

Monday Night Dress up

I don't really have much to say about this little ensomble, other than I felt like trying on the contents of my wardrobe to remind myself what I had and the answer is ALOT! I've worn this dress a few fancy occasions but I'm thinking it may make an appearance over the Christmassy season, Perhaps with a wolly jumper over the top.

Goooooood Evening, since I have nothing exciting to share with you about my week so far, I thought I would show you some of my photos from when I went to Berlin in June, with my best mate! It all started from us googling the "World's biggest.."....FISH TANK, which believe it or not, is in a hotel in Berlin. Shocked at the wonders of this enormous fish tank, we booked ourselves on a flight, to experience to carb filled delights of Germany! So here are a selection of my favourite photos from the trip, I'll try and caption them so you aren't completely confused....

This film was in a gallery near the Brandenburger Tor, it was a comparison between how the nazis used propaganda rallies to recruit people and hooliganism at football matches. It was a powerful message but really hit home how easily people can be swayed to particular view.

The World's largest fish tank inside the Radisson Blu hotel...

A segment of the Berlin wall

Sugar rush at the Ritter sport cafe, where I ate the most delicious chocolate "bit" in the world, no idea what it was but oh man it was delicious.....

The Holocaust Memorial

The Reichstag

Inside the dome of the Reichstag

A flea market in Freidrichstrass (I think that's how you spell it), possibly one of my favourite parts of the trip.

I take that back, this was one of my favourite parts, It was a derelict theatre where artists began squatting and has been transformed into a work of art, completely engulfed in graffiti but also there was something weirdly sad about the place. A kind of beautiful sadness

The East side gallery, a reconstructed section of the Berlin wall, which displays some amazing artwork.

On Thursday Me and Tom trekked it to London, I'd bought him tickets to see M83 for his 21st in the summer and I jumped at the chance to take 2 days off work!! It was one of the best gigs I've ever been to, it finished pretty early which meant we had extra time to squeeze in drinks with my big brother....we spent the evening talking about hobby horses, one pound fish and drinking shots of cointreau. Oh I also accidentally invented something called the gardigan, which is wearing the guardian as a cardigan, don't pretend like you're not impressed.

Before we went to the gig we went for some cocktails in Seven bar in Brixton

As I mentioned in a previous post, this summer i spent building a 9 flight stair case (below is a picture of the staircase) It's in a private gallery in London called Marlborough Arts. It was right round the corner from the ritz, we were by far the scruffiest people in that part of London, we actually heard a woman talking about how embarrassed she was to be carrying a Sainsburys bag.
